United Dairy Farmers plans six Ohio fast-charging sites, with rollout expected to begin in early 2027
The October 6 announcement lists stores near Columbus and Cincinnati but does not give individual opening dates, charging prices or connector types.
United Dairy Farmers and Electric Era announced on October 6 that six Ohio stores will receive DC fast chargers. UDF expects the chargers to begin coming online in early 2027, with individual launch dates announced as each location becomes operational. [1]
Planned sites are 5171 Riggins Road in Hilliard; 890 Columbus Avenue in Lebanon; 5261 Kings Mills Road in Mason; 6643 OH-48 in Maineville; and 11610 Lebanon Road and 5275 Beechmont Avenue in Cincinnati. [1]
The companies say all six locations were selected through Ohio's National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program. Electric Era describes battery-backed chargers that combine grid power, on-site storage and software to manage power delivery. The announcement does not specify connector types, per-port charging power or charging prices. [1]
UDF also plans to link charging with its U-Drive Plus loyalty program, including charging credits earned through qualifying store purchases. Electric Era's event page confirms a six-store integration planned for 2027. These are planned installations, not six new charging stops available now. [1] [2]
