Tesla reports 486,532 deliveries for Q3 2026
Tesla's third-quarter deliveries rose 1.3% from Q2 but fell 2.1% from a year earlier.
Tesla reported 486,532 vehicle deliveries in the third quarter of 2026, according to its October 2 production and delivery update. The company produced 464,391 vehicles during the quarter and deployed 13.7 GWh of energy storage. [1]
Deliveries rose 1.3% from the previous quarter's 480,126 but fell 2.1% from the 497,099 reported a year earlier. Those changes are calculated from Tesla's published totals. [1] [2] [3]
Model 3 and Model Y accounted for 478,237 deliveries combined. Tesla grouped its other models together at 8,295, without providing an individual count for each vehicle. [1]
The release does not include revenue, profit or margins. Tesla plans to publish its full third-quarter financial results after the market closes on October 21, followed by a Q&A webcast at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. The delivery figures alone do not establish how profitable the quarter was. [1]
