Rivian reports 19,248 Q3 deliveries, up 57.8% from Q2
Rivian kept its full-year delivery forecast at 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles. Its latest update does not break out R2 deliveries.
Rivian reported 19,248 vehicle deliveries for the quarter ended September 30, according to its October 2 update. The company said it produced 19,751 vehicles at its Normal, Illinois factory during the same period. [1]
That is 7,054 more deliveries than the 12,194 Rivian reported for Q2, a 57.8% increase calculated from the company's totals. Rivian kept its full-year 2026 delivery forecast at 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles, the range it announced in July. [1] [2]
Rivian's July report included the start of R2 deliveries during Q2. The new release gives combined vehicle totals without a model breakdown, so it does not establish how many R2s reached customers in Q3 or how much of the increase came from that model. [2] [1]
The October update does not include quarterly revenue or profit. Rivian plans to release its full Q3 financial results after market close on October 29, with a webcast at 5 p.m. Eastern that day. [1]
