Hyundai announced the fully electric STARIA Cargo for Europe on October 6. The three-seat panel van is scheduled to be presented at the Paris Motor Show press day on October 12. [1]

Hyundai lists an 84 kWh battery, an 800-volt electrical system and an estimated WLTP range of up to 450 km. It says charging from 10% to 80% takes 20 minutes under optimal DC fast-charging conditions. That is a manufacturer specification, not a guaranteed time at every charger. An 11 kW onboard charger handles AC charging. [1]

The company specifies a 160 kW motor, a 1,040 kg payload and a 2,000 kg braked towing limit. The load area fits three Euro pallets, with sliding doors on both sides. Hyundai also lists 3.5 kW vehicle-to-load output through an interior cargo-area socket and an external connection for powering electrical devices. [1]

Hyundai says availability will begin in the second half of 2026, depending on market. The announcement does not provide prices, country-specific order openings or firm customer delivery dates. [1]
