Hyundai announced on October 5 that UK orders for the IONIQ 3 are open. The five-seat electric hatchback starts at £18,495 on the road after the £3,750 Electric Car Grant, according to Hyundai's announcement. [1] [2]

The entry price covers the Advance trim with a 42 kWh battery. Its listed price before the grant is £22,245. The Advance with a 61 kWh battery costs £21,995 after the grant, while the N Line Evo tops the range at £28,195. [1]

Hyundai says every version qualifies for the full grant. Existing reservation holders receive that grant instead of the previously offered £1,500 reservation saving; the two discounts are not combined. [1]

Orders are open through UK retailers. Hyundai says cars are arriving at retailers during October. The announcement does not confirm that customer deliveries have already started. [1]
