Ford reports 6,047 U.S. EV sales in Q3, down 80.2% year over year
Ford's October 2 sales report lists 5,574 Mustang Mach-Es, 289 F-150 Lightnings and 184 E-Transit vans sold during the quarter.
Ford reported 6,047 U.S. electric vehicle sales for the third quarter of 2026 in its October 2 release. That was down 80.2% from the 30,612 it reported for the same quarter in 2025. [1]
The Mustang Mach-E accounted for 5,574 of those sales. Ford also reported 289 F-150 Lightning pickups and 184 E-Transit vans. Those three models add up to the company's quarterly EV total. [1]
Ford separately reported 44,308 hybrid sales, down 19.7% year over year. Its broader electrified-vehicle total of 50,355 combines hybrids and EVs, so that figure should not be read as electric-only sales. [1]
Through September, Ford reported 22,653 U.S. EV sales, compared with 69,600 a year earlier, a 67.5% decline. Across all powertrains, Ford and Lincoln sold 509,764 vehicles in Q3, down 6.6%. These are U.S. sales figures, not worldwide totals. [1]
